当今世界时代压力正处于知识爆炸的信息时代。不论是什么人，稍不留神，就会落后于汹涌澎湃的信息潮流。大学生是处于成熟与不成熟、独立与不独立之间的特殊群体，特定的时代背景使他们承受着更加尖锐的挑战：他们一方面必须努力完成在校学业，同时还要关心所学知识能否适应未来需要;一方面必须掌握最基本的专业知识，同时还要具备信息时代获取新知识的基本素质;一方面必须拥有创新意识和创新能力，同时还必须塑造能够融入和谐社会的健全人格。诸如此类的高期望值，必然给他们带来心理的紧张和压力。

2、提供良好环境，培养综合素质。

我给大家讲一个小故事。xx年，举办第一期大学生禅修夏令营的时候，从深圳来了一个小伙子，是他的父亲母亲把他绑架来的。他很不情愿。为什么呢？他在深圳大学读书，平常我们说“饭来张口，衣来伸手”，饭来张口是比较被动的生活方式，可这个小伙子呢，是“饭来不张口，衣来不伸手”。每天晚上两三点钟还不睡觉，早上九十点钟根本不起床，十一二点还在床上等着，就是不起。饭端到他床头他都不吃。家长拿他没办法了，他自己呢还有百般的怨气，认为爹妈对他不好。参加完正觉寺举办的大学生禅修夏令营之后，他回去以后彻底改变了。每天早晨他第一个起床做好早饭请爸妈起来吃饭，每天晚上打好洗脚水让爸妈洗脚。整个人非常的孝顺，彻底的改变了。他的父亲母亲对正觉寺非常的感恩，小伙子自己也非常感恩。他说正觉寺的大学生禅修夏令营改变了他，改变了他的生活方式，改变了他的人生观世界观，知道了作为自己肩上负担的责任，要为祖国的建设服务，要服务社会，报效祖国。所以我们大学生禅修夏令营举办得越来越好，而且受到广泛的欢迎。来自全国乃至世界各地的学子们纷纷到正觉寺来，参加我们的大学生禅修夏令营。
